After 40 years as an educational institution, the kindergarten classrooms of Lancaster School have undergone a renovation led by the Tuux team, thanks to the sponsorship of Tecnotabla and the technological support of Asia Robotics. This project not only represents a physical update but also a renewed commitment to the school's core values and a vision towards more dynamic and sustainable learning. In this first stage, Tuux remodeled three classrooms in the school, with plans to renovate the other areas in later stages.
For four decades, Lancaster School has built its educational project on three key principles: celebrating diversity, education as a lifelong integral process, and the idea of the school as a learning community. Now, with the new kindergarten classrooms designed by Tuux, these values are physically reflected in every aspect of the space.
To carry out the transformation of the classrooms, Tecnotabla melamines were used. A brand with which Tuux has collaborated for years, sharing environmental, social, labor, and design values and philosophy. Tecnotabla's wood fiber boards come from nationally managed environmentally and socially sustainable forests and plantations, and comply with the strictest standards of sustainable production, with adhesives with low VOC emissions.
The collaboration between Lancaster, Tuux, and Tecnotabla goes beyond this particular project. It is an example of how educational innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, transforming not only physical spaces but also the minds and hearts of future generations.
Similarly, Tuux and Tecnotabla's sustainability philosophy harmonizes with that of Lancaster School, which has various initiatives in this regard. These include energy generation through solar panels in its two campuses, educational projects on the environment, ecology, and sustainability in all grades from kindergarten to CCH, participation in environmental regeneration projects in its community, and an ambitious recycling program, among others.
