  • Co-founder

    Emiliano Godoy is a Mexican industrial designer, working all over the world, for over 25 years, in applied sustainability projects, using design as a tool for generating positive changes in society and the environment.

    His work ranges from furniture design and architecture, interior and collectible design, product design, museography and curatorial work, and strategic and design thinking.

    For his work he has received numerous awards in competitions such as the Good Design Award; Iberoamerican Design Biennial; Red Dot Design Award; German Design Award; IFDA in Asahikawa; Mexican National Design Biennial; and Diseña México’s National Design Award.

    Amongst other museum collections, in 2011 his Knit Chair was included in the permanent collection of MoMA (Museum of Modern Art, New York). In 2015 his Pedro and Pablo bowls were included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum (New York).

  • Co-Founder

    Daniel Romero Valencia (Mexico City, 1982) is a Mexican industrial designer who graduated from the Centro de Investigaciones de Diseño Industrial at UNAM. For the past 10 years, he has been a professor of design, furniture, and ergonomics at CIDI UNAM, and also teaches design courses on Domestika.

    He has received numerous awards, including the MDF Designer of the Year (2023) and the Red Dot Design Award (2019). He has been selected among the 100 most important creatives in Mexico (Forbes). He has won and been selected in several editions of the Ibero-American Design Biennial and other national and international competitions.

    He has given lectures and workshops at various institutions, such as IBERO, Tecnológico de Monterrey, Universidad Autónoma de Michoacán, UAM, Universidad Modelo and Marista de Mérida, Museo Franz Mayer, and other design events.

  • Management Director

    Paula Vera-Cruz is the Management Director of Tuux. With a PhD and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Instituto de Investigaciones en Materiales at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), she brings a strong academic background to her role at Tuux.

    In addition to her leadership at Tuux, Paula has taught at the Faculty of Sciences at UNAM, contributing to the education of future scientists and engineers. Her expertise in materials science has been instrumental in implementing advanced and sustainable practices at Tuux, driving the studio's ongoing success.
