Inspired by the Chihuahuan desert and its rich cultural heritage, Acrónimo presents a bottle that captures the essence of its landscapes and traditions.
Designed to hold two exceptional spirits, Sotol and Gin, this piece is the result of a collaboration between Acrónimo and Tuux, combining functionality and aesthetics in a reflection of both brands' quality and innovation. The bottle draws from three fundamental narratives: our connection to the land, the value of the journey, and the clarity of our identity.
The connection to the land is manifested in the bottle's rough texture, achieved through a semi-automatic blown glass technique and the use of sand or frit. This sandy surface evokes the desert soil, establishing a tangible link to the origins of Acrónimo's Sotol and Gin ingredients.
Clarity is represented in a polished, rounded section of the bottle, obtained through a meticulous process of grinding and manual polishing. This "window" of glass offers a view of the interior, symbolizing the transparency and purity of the spirits.
The journey is depicted in the bas-relief that adorns the bottle, evoking the trails and paths of the Chihuahuan desert. Every detail has been carefully designed to reflect these core concepts, creating a piece that not only holds an exceptional drink but also tells a meaningful story. This bottle celebrates tradition and innovation, highlighting Acrónimo’s commitment to excellence in the world of spirits.
